Born 1968
(Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

1983 – started to study in artistic workshops at
Hélio Rodrigues´s atelier

1986 – beginning of works with stage design, advertisement,
film and Carnival-related pieces.

1987-1989 – studied Visual Communication (Design)
at the Federal University of Rio de  Janeiro

1989-1991 – transferred to the Stage Design
department of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro 

1990-1991 – studied Space Creation with Celeida
Tostes at the Open Art School of Parque Lage, Rio de Janeiro

Moved to Prague in 1991 to study Stage Design

1992-1998 – studied Stage Design at the Theatre Faculty in Prague (DAMU), where
finished the BA and Masters

Since 1998 – works for TV, Advertisement, Theatre, Musicals, Valtice´s Baroque
music festivals,  Prague´s and Novy Bor´s annual Carnival, plus in Interior
Decoration as a Designer, Art Director and Creative Director.

2007 –  exhibition
of some of his artistic installations and sculptures in Nový Bor, by which time
he has blown glass for the first time in his life.

2008-2009 – awarded TV campaigns at the Promax Festival (Silver 2008 and Golden
2009 Prizes)

Juror at the Tour Film Festival, Czech Republic (2011, 2012)

In 2009, decided to realize a dream: started
studying Art Glass at the Glass School of Nový Bor, under glass artists Milan
Handl a Stanislava Grebeničková.

In 2012, got his first Honorable Mention for a Fresh Approach in the
competitions “Craft and Art in glass” and was nominated a finalist in the
“National Prize of Student Design”. (The work CORNUCOPIA is part of the
exhibition of the Czech Design Centre.)

In 2013, graduated with a Specialist degree in “Creation and Production of Artistic
Glass“, after participation at the Biennial of Latin American Art in Prague,
held at the Instituto Cervantes.

In 2015, took part of the IGS- International Glass Symposium as one of the 70 artists from 22 countries ( ) and held in November his own big exhibition, named “SPLASH!”, at the Museum of Česká Lípa. (

Since then, built a country
house with his partner Radek and family dog Dingo, close to the town of Nový
Bor, where is his Atelier, founded in 2017, with a big fusing kiln.

In 2017, took part of the
GLS´17 (Glass Lab Session 2017) in the Glass Art Center in Sázava, Czech

Currently, making his pieces
for interiors and award pieces for events such as the “Global Teacher Prize” (
and preparing a new exhibition on his show room.

Still working for local media
as an Art Director and Set Designer, in Prague.
